Project Manager / Trainer
Project Manager/Trainer - responsible for managing project(s) such as recycling, clothing, and Mardi Gras beads as individual businesses, researches and develops additional projects, as necessary, and manages, trains, and supervises staff and workers with disabilities as they relate to projects. Additional responsibilities include: cash revenue record maintenance, interfacing with the accounting department, reporting project issues and/or status to the Executive Director and preparing the vocational work schedules for the projects. Other duties: Develops and oversees the agency’s quality enhancement program; Maintains and oversees the recycling contract with the parish; supervisors the project / maintenance worker in the area of the projects and maintenance.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required. Minimum of one year of experience in management role. Experience using Microsoft Office Word and Excel. Strong communication skills, ability to multi-task, attention to detail and ability to interact with internal and external customers and employees. Must maintain a valid Louisiana driver’s license.

Direct Service Worker - NOW Waiver
Direct Service Worker - provides direct care to individuals with disabilities for their daily living skills as determined by the individual's plan of care. A high school diploma preferred but not required. The Direct Service Worker must be capable of communicating effectively with individuals with varying life skill capabilities, must be capable of interpreting and following the established plan of care and must have and maintain a valid Louisiana Class D Chauffeur Driver's license.
